Overview: 3M Ultra Security Series
3M Ultra security window films are composed of alternating stacks of transparent polyester film and a strong acrylic adhesive. The high tensile strength and elongation at break properties, plus market-leading tear strength, significantly increase the resistance of the glazing system to impact.
A superior adhesive also results in market-leading fragment retention.
Please note that if being installed onto toughened glass, consideration should be given to the break pattern. An edge retention system to bond the film to the frame may be of additional benefit.
Ultra security film is available combined with 3M’s unique solar control technologies. A Prestige70 option to control temperature and a Night Vision option to reduce glare.
