Solar Control Film and Window Graphics, Watford FC

Watford Football Club approached WF Glazing Protection Ltd because solar glare and heat gain were causing a problem for staff in their offices. At the same time, they were looking for a supplier of window graphics and frosted privacy film as part of a refurbishment project.

With our manufacturer trained background and over 20 year combined industry experience, an external solar film application was specified. After assessing the glazing configuration and performing a film to glass compatibility analysis, it was decided that an internal application posed too high a risk of thermal fracture to the windows.

3M External Silver15 was installed using Health & Safety approved powered access equipment to provide 81% solar heat and glare rejection creating a far more comfortable and productive working environment.

At the same time, we were able to provide all of their window graphic and privacy film requirements with our expertise in vinyl application.
